Memorial Baptist Church, a conservative Southern Batist Church in Port Arthur, Texas is seeking a full time pastor. Port Arthur, a diverse multicultural community, is located on the Gulf Coast approximately ninety (90)miles east of Houston.
Our ideal pastor will be a seminary graduate from one of the seminaries associated with the Southern Batist Convention. He will be mature, having previous pastoral experience. He will be married, with or without children. He will fearlessly proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and believe in the inerrancy of the biblical scriptures. Personal integrity and a passion for abiding in Christ, as seen through his devotion to prayer and God's Word, are key requirements. He will lead in the spiritual growth of our Church family and will reach out to our community.
