Keller Springs Baptist Church is a midsize suburban church consisting of believers of all ages. We are looking for a Spirit-filled believer to lead the worship ministries of the church.
Purpose:To develop and lead the worship ministry in consultation with the Senior Pastor and other team members in a way that is consistent with our mission, values, and theology.
Responsibilities:
Select music for worship services.
Meet with pastor to review, plan and pray for worship services.
Recruit, equip, supervise, and shepherd staff and volunteers
Participate in the life and ministry of the church.
Plan worship for special services (ie church anniversary)
Skills Required:
Effective interpersonal,communication, leadership and administrative skills.
Skilled as a worship leader and instrumentalist.
Spiritual maturity and commitment to Christian lifestyle.
Ability to spiritually develop ministry members.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum two years experience in church related setting.
Worship philosophy consistent with the Keller Springs Church.
Experience with technical aspects of worship services: sound boards, lights etc.
Ability in range of styles including gospel(traditional and contemporary) hymns, contemporary arrangements of hymns, and
contemporary worship songs, anthems.
Compensation: This is a part time position. Salary will be commensurate with experience, education.
