Job Description:
Hughes Springs MBC, is located in the small town of East Texas. Hughes Springs Missionary Baptist Church (affiliated with and align our beliefs with the doctrines of the Amarican Baptist Association - abaptist.org) is a fast growing Bible believing church that is family orriented and enjoys; expository preaching, Home Bibles studies, family fellowships and blended worship.Our bottom line is Connecting people to God, to others and to service.
For the soul reason to bring Jesus Christ honor and glory through this local church we exsist to - Evangelize people with the Good News of Jesus Christ; Equip them in Christ-like maturity through discipleship, fellowship, prayer and ministry in order to; Exalt the Lord Jesus through congregational and individual worship.
We are currently seeking the man God has to be our next Music and Youth Pastor. This is a full time position with a competative salary.
These are some job duties however a full job description is available upon request:
YOUTH
Plan, organize and lead youth activities and groups.
Establish relationships with all youth.
Keep accurate records of finances and spending.
Leading youth group in sharing their faith.
Be a visionary for the Christian Education program
MUSIC
Prayerfully plan and provide leadership for each of the church's weekly worship services.
Manitain / recruit members
Provide solid Scriptural teaching covering the issues related to woship.
