Job Description:
Diverse metropolitan congregation in an urban context is seeking three pastors to work as a team under the Senior Pastor to facilitate the implementation of vision. As a team, these three pastors would supervise all ministries and operations as directed by the Senior Pastor. Individually, each would direct an area of ministry consisting of two or three departments, as well as the corresponding department leaders. The three areas represented are: disciple-making, operations and support, and missions and community development. Experience is necessary, and experience in urban, cross-cultural ministry is preferred. Minorities are encouraged to apply. Congregation is part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, and has a passion for justice in the urban setting, as well as world mission. It has grown from 400 to approximately 3,500 but needs additional staffing to move forward. Pastor has been in place for over 24 years, and no change in Senior Pastor position is anticipated.
