Great Opportunity for Youth Minister in beautiful Enterprise Alabama, a progressive 25,000 person educated community 90 miles from the most beautiful beaches in the world. First United Methodist Church has a weekly attendance of 500 members, two new beautiful buildings to complement several others on our campus, and a rich 100 year history of serving our Lord. Basic Qualifications:
1)Have a caring attitude, excellent people skills,the ability to be accessible and flexible to handle the changing needs of the church.
2)be equipped to develop a youth ministry that is spiritually grounded, focused, dynamic and life changing.
3)have a genuine passion for youth, providing leadership and vision to the overall program development, coordination,implementation and direction to staff and volunteers
4)develop youth programs as a tool for leading people to Christ, for discipling people and strengthening their faith, while glorifying God
5)show experience as a highly motivated self-starter who can effectively work independently of direct supervision
6)exhibit strong people skills with and ability to recruit and inspire volunteers to effectively execute youth programs
7)prepare and properly administer the Youth Ministry Budget
8)have a strong understanding of today's youth culture and the social pressures facing our youth while acting as a very good role model
9)ability to lead energizing, dynamic,and inspiring youth programming while demanding appropriate respect from participants
10)exhibit a deep Christian commitment and caring, approachable demeanor as a spiritual leader and mentor for out youth and their families
